Bday at Blue Martini

BCBG vest, F21 skirt

It was my best friend's birthday the other day and we decided to celebrate at Blue Martini. It is a local martini bar with a club like atmosphere. They have great live music, food, and an outdoor patio to enjoy a beverage under the stars.

Sushi and a Movie

....watched a movie at our outdoor mall, Town Square, watched a 5lb. gummy bear eating contest....almost 13,000 calories for this little guy...
Goyemon sushi was amazing! It is from the same owners as SushiMon. The restaurant is packed within the first hour of opening. You have to try the fish salads, the pork belly with mango, and and the spicy rolls!! Yum!

on the vaporetto, otherwise known as a water taxi- wearing Elizabeth & James jacket, Alexander Wang tank maxi dress (worn with silver cross necklace and brown Steve Madden sandals)

Burano is known for their lace and Murano is known for their hand blown glass. Murano is the colorful picture featured above.
Juicy Couture pleated maxi dress, worn with vintage belt

Venice was the most adorable city. It had this quaint small town vibe full of color and personality. The scenic views were picturesque....straight out of an oil painting. The street style was very relaxed.

Spanish hot chocolate (it's really thick) with churros....yummy. This was enjoyed at a 100 year old coffee shop.

True Religion jeans, American Apparel T, Cecilia De Bucourt shawl (a shawl packs conveniently and does not wrinkle...great accessory to any trip wardrobe)
a picnic at the park.....unlike any other picnic i have EVER packed

Barcelona has the most inspiring architecture. It is so intensely grandiose and somehow meticulously clean. There is a quite a bit of graffiti on walls and businesses, however everything else is kept up very well. Barcelona was by far my favorite cuisine. I could live off of Baguettes with olive oil, cheese, and prosciutto!!

I recently got back from Europe and it was amazing. I traveled to Barcelona, Paris, and Venice. The three cities are truly so individualistic with there incredibly impressive architecture, cuisine, and unique fashion. you can definitely tell the difference between American and European fashion. The Parisian fashion eye candy makes me salivate just thinking about it!! The city and the amazing people who live there leave a lingering desire to go back again and again and again. Do I even have to mention which of the three destinations was my fave? Paris, of course!!! of Marie Antoinette's apartments in Versailles / subway below...
I love Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PARIS street style

I definitely had my own "The Sartiorialist" inspiration in one of the many streets in which inspire the famous blogger. These are a few of my fave street moments.  The last couple on this entry was my favorite!!! The picture was taken at the Opera attending the Shakespearean trajic masterpiece "Othello". I bought a Haute Hippie dress that remind me of her dress....I will show it to you later. I may just copy her look.
