I recently tried a new Japanese restaurant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino called Shibuya. The food was exquisite as well as artistically eye pleasing. The manager was kind enough to to share with us that the food was inspired to create a French/Japanese fusion. The menu consists of a bevy of enticing appetizers, followed by main dishes and tasting platters for those who are open to more flavors than myself. I was also impressed with the dessert menu. We ended the meal with a cappuccino inspired tiramisu. The dessert was topped with a foam that was so light and sweet that it cleverly appeared to be a cappuccino. This is a definite must for the next time you are in Vegas.

We are so fortunate here in Vegas. We are not only surrounded by the most amazing shopping destinations, but also the most amazing restaurants. We are known for our world renown chefs and restaurants, however i would like to point out that we have some pretty memorable local favorites as well. I love sushi! My husband and I just tried out a little place on Maryland and Flamingo called Yama Sushi. It is a great little place with even better food. We tried the "all you can eat" while sitting at the bar in front of the most fun and and clever picture wall. I have to warn you that there is a wait, but it is definitely worth it.
