Capo's

I have a fascination with "old Vegas".  It truly used to be all glitz and glamour.  Everyone made the effort to be dressed to the nines when visiting a local casino. The employees uniforms even felt more elevated, donning tuxedos and heavily beaded garb.  We like to keep things feeling new here in Las Vegas, so when I stumble upon a piece of "old Vegas" I get really excited.  If your sentiments are similar to mine, then Capo's is the place for you.  The food is amazing and vibe allows you to glimpse into the past.  This is what the old Vegas must have felt like.  The restaurant has a an old school speakeasy vibe and the decor lends itself to the glamour of the past.......not to mention....it's the best Italian food I have had in a long time!

Super Summer Theatre...Legally Blonde

It's funny how you can live in a city, such as Las Vegas, your entire life and be completely oblivious to to all that it has to offer.  That being said, I have to admit I have been a resident in Las Vegas almost my entire life and cannot believe that I was unaware of the "Super Summer Theatre".  This major production has been lighting up the stage for longer than I have been around.  They just celebrated their 38th year and their 1 millionth customer!!!  I am such a huge fan of Legally Blonde, so when I found out they were going to perform this summer, I couldn't wait.  It was such a nice change from your typical show on the strip or of course your average movie theatre.  You are encouraged to bring your own picnic, wine, chairs, blankets, etc., or you can rent and buy it all on location.  The stage is quietly nestled in a green meadow just past Red Rock.  You're surrounded by mountains, trees and above, a sky that offers stars beyond the beauty of the Strip.  The best part is that tickets start at $12.00!!!

Sedona...Sunday Brunch

Sedona is a great place to meet up and have Sunday Brunch.  You can enjoy your first meal of the day outside in a cozy "back porch" setting.  The breakfast offering is tasty, followed by some even tastier mimosas.  Inside,  the ambiance is a little more chic.  This local favorite is also a great choice for dinner or perfect for some late night drinks outdoors by the fire pit....when the weather is appropriate.
